Sparsely adpressed-pilose annual, 30-70 cm or more, climbing. Leaflets 4-7-paired, 6-30 x 3-14 mm, linear-lanceolate or elliptic to oblong or obovate, cuneate, sometimes obcordate, truncate to deeply notched; stipules minute, narrowly semi-hastate to ovate-lanceolate; tendrils usually branched. Peduncle shorter than the 2-5-flowers. Flowers usually 20-30 mm, pale yellow or whitish to pink. Calyx 7-10 mm, tubular, gibbous, with an oblique mouth, sparsely pubescent; teeth unequal, the lower subequal to or shorter than the tube, subulate; standard with a broad limb at least as long as the subpapillose claw. Legume oblong-linear, 24-40 x 9-10 mm, convex or straightish at upper edge, beaked, glabrous. Seeds 2-3, hilum 1/3-2/3 of perimeter. Fl. 4-5. Moist soils, nr. s.l.-1400 m.
