Scrambling glabrescent annua 130-200 cm. Leaflets 5-16 cm, ovate-lanceolate. Racemes 2-12-flowered. Calyx 7-8 mm. Corolla 20-25 mm, white, pale yellow, pink or red. Legume 15-70 x 0,5-1 cm, linear, puberulent or glabrescent, pendulous. Seeds 3,5-5 mm, smooth, arillate. Cultivated in W. &S. Anatolia, especially in Manisa, Aydin, Denizli, Burdur and Isparta, for its edible legume and seeds. Known in Turkey as 'Borülce'.
