Stems 20-40 cm, ascending, usually glandular-pruinose and ± sparsely pilose. Leaves ovate to ovate-elliptic, 17-37 x 10-28 mm, glandular-puberulent and sparsely ± straight-haired, craspedodromous, crenate-dentate to serrate. Verticillasters distant to approximate, distinctly pedunculate, 2-many-flowered. Bracteoles lanceolate, 3-6 mm. Calyx 7-13.5 mm, 11-veined, glandular, sparsely and shortly eglandular-pubescent or not, throat glabrous; teeth ± porrect, upper 1-1.5 mm, lower 2-3 mm. Corolla lilac, 17-25 mm, Fl. 4-7. Rocky places on limestone, 150-1300 m.
