Subshrub to 30 cm, hirsute to tomentose. Branches to 10 pairs per stem, to 6 cm. Leaves petiolate to subsessile , roundish or ovate, 6-23 x 5-20 mm, obtuse. Spicules c. 3-15 x 4 mm. Bracts ovate or elliptic, 2-4 x 1-3 mm, obtuse or acute. Calyx c. 2.5 mm; upper lip toothed to c. 1/2; lower lip ± as long as upper lip, consisting of broadly triangular teeth. Corolla white, 3-6 mm. Fl. 7. Open Cedrus forest, c. 1525 m.
