Leaves oblong-linear, 7-12 x 1.5-2 mm, obtuse, curved, conduplicate, sparsely glandular-punctate, glabrous except for ciliate margins. Inflorescence dense, columnar, 2-10 cm, Verticillasters 2-flowered, flowers shortly pedicellate. Bracts ± equal to calyces. Calyx 4-5 mm, subactinomorphic, 4-5 mm, tube puberulent; teeth 1/3-2/5 x calyx, lanceolate-subulate, glabrous. Corolla violet-blue, 6-8 mm. Nutlets 1.5 mm. Fl.&fr. 10.
