Perennial, 60-90 cm, branched, densely adpressed white-tomentose, only the inflorescence with looser indumentum and glandular hairs. Middle cauline leaves oblong, acutish or acute, sessile, finely denticulate or entire, 3-6 x 1-2 cm. Verticillasters 13-15, 6-flowered, distant, with internodes 3-6 cm, Middle bracts yellowish-green, puberulent and glandular, orbicular to reniform, 0.7-1.5 x 1.2-2 cm, with acumen 1-3 mm. Calyx 9-9.5 mm, with spreading eglandular and shorter glandular hairs, teeth 3 mm, lanceolate, subacute, with ± rounded sinus. Corolla yellow, 12-13 mm, ± glabrous and with brown striae inside. Fl. 6. Open Pinus brutia forest, Quercus scrub, 960-970 m.
