Tall perennial herb. Stems villous. Leaves deeply trifid , the segments ovate-lanceolate, the central longer than the laterals, all toothed and stellate-villous. Peduncles many-flowered. Petals red, 14-15 mm. Mericarps stellate-pilose, rugose.
