Prostrate perennial herb. Stems stellate-pilose. Leaves broadly orbicular, with a broad sinus, crenate, strongly palmately veined, stellate-pilose above and beneath. Flowers solitary in the 1eaf axils, long-pedunculate. Sepals oblong, triangular, accrescent in fruit. Petals deep pink, c. 10 mm. Mericarps inflated, pilose. Fl. 5-8. Fields, etc., s.I.-1000 m.
