Stems up to 50 cm. Leaves 2-3-pinnatisect with ± linear segments. Buds narrowly pyriform, obtuse at the apex, c. 1 cm. Petals 2-2,5 cm, violet. Filaments linear. Capsule linear-cylindrical, 4-valved, setose at least near apex. Fl. 4-6. Disturbed ground, fields, vineyards, s.I.-1300 m.
