Perennial. Stems ascending, pubescent. Lower leaves ovate to obovate, upper leaves elliptic to linear. Racemes usually all terminal, lax 6-20-flowered: Bracts shorter than the pedicels. Upper sepal gibbous. Inner sepals oblongobovate, somewhat stipitate, with veins anastomosing near the apex, bluish. Corolla equalling or a little shorter than the inner sepals. Anthers shortly stipitate. Capsule sessile, obcordate, unequally winged.
