Collar strongly fibrous; basal leaves palmately 3-5 partite into incised cuneate segments. Involucral leaves sessile, deeply tripartite into incised or subentire segments. Flowers umbellate, 3-7. Tepals 5, obovate-elliptic, white or flushed pink. Achenes glabrous, flattened. A polymorphic species; 2 subspecies may be distinguished in Turkey:
