Stem 13-40 cm, simple or divaricately branched, adpressed-pubescent. Leaf laciniae linear-setaceous. Racemes loose, 5-12-flowered. Pedicels much longer than sepals. Lower bracts 2-3-sect, upper entire. Bracteoles reaching slightly beyond the base of the flower, subpersistent. Flowers bright violet-blue, 30-35 mm. Spur 20-25 min, flexutlus, more than 1,5 x posterior sepal. Corolla subtrilobed, 13-15 mm, subcordate at base, upper lobe much shorter and narrower than the arched lateral lobes. Follicles. oblong, adpressed-strigulose, long-pedicelled, suberect. Fl. 7-8. Dry igneous slopes and screes, 1200-1800 m.
Endemic; very close to C. olopetala and perhaps only a subspecies of it. Ir.-Tur. element.
