Glabrous perennial, 60-100 cm. Stems terete, striate, 3-10 mm thick. Cauline leaves long-petioled, lower ones 7-18 cm across, palmatisect, the segments divided into oblong-lanceolate to linear laciniae. Raceme oblong-linear, 3-3,5 cm broad. Bracts and bracteoles linear, not membranous-margined, the latter attached towards the top of the pedicels. Flowers dirty white to dusky blue, 24-27 mm, glabrous; spur attenuated, acute, ascending, 1-1,5 x sepals. Follicles glabrous. Fl. 6-8. Coniferous forest, rocks, streams, 1000-1650 m.
