Erect or ascending hairy perennial, 8-50 cm; glandular hairs present, mainly on stems and petioles. Leaves pinnate; leaflets 5-9, ovate to suborbicular, 10-50 x 5-30 mm, simply or doubly crenate-dentate, sparsely adpressed-pilose, greenish-grey. Flowers in terminal cymes. Epicalyx segments linear-lanceolate, entire or sometimes 2-3-lobed at apex, shorter than broadly lanceolate to triangular and usually lobed 5-10 mm sepals. Petals creamy white, obovate, 7-12 mm, longer than sepals. Achenes glabrous; style sub-basal, fusiform. Fl. 6-7. Rocky slopes, 1200-2600 m.
