Dwarf cushion-shaped perennial, Stems filiform, prostrate; branches 1-3 cm, erect to ascending, ± densely imbricately leafy, with numerous short vegetative shoots in leaf-axils, sparingly hirtellous, hairs to 0.5mm. Leaves in whorls of 6, 4-7 x 0.6-0.8 mm, linear-oblanceolate, acute, hyaline apex absent or to 0.2 mm only, margin thin and flat, softly puberulent with hairs to 0.5 mm to subglabrous, shining, ± golden-green on drying; midrib ± obsolete beneath. Flowers borne singly in uppermost leafaxils, subsessile. Calyx teeth absent. Corolla milk-white, 2-2.5 mm; tube c. 0.5 mm, lobes lanceolate-oblong, cucullate-obtusish, revolute, c. 1.5 mm. Mericarps oblong-ovoid, hirtellous to glabrous. Fl. 6-8. Rock crevices, 2000-2600 m.
