Viburnum lantana

 Shrub 2-6 m. Twigs and naked buds greyish, stellate-hairy. Leaves ovate to obovate, 5-10 cm, serrulate, rugose above, greyish, especially beneath, stellately pubescent, more densely so beneath. Inflorescence 6-10 cm diam. Flowers all alike, fertile, c. 6 mm, cream. Drupe c. 8 mm, oval, at first red, becoming black. Fl. 6-7. Forest and scrub, rocky slopes, 1000-2000 m.
