Bulb subglobose, to 1.2 cm diam.; outer tunics membranous. Stem 15-45 cm, terete. Leaves 2-3, linear, 2-15 mm broad, sparsely hairy or glabrous. Spathe to 2 cm, 1-valved, persistent. Umbel fastigiate, 2.5-4 cm diam. Pedicels to 3 cm, 1.5-3 x perianth. Perianth patent; segments white with pink midvein, sometimes flushed pink, lanceolate, 7-10 mm, acute. Filaments 1/2 x perianth. Anthers yellowish. Capsule 4-5 mm. Fl. 3-5. Shaded banks, stony or cultivated ground, nr s.l.- 915 m.
