Bulb subglobose to ovoid, 2.5 x 1.5-2.2 cm. Leaves narrowly oblanceolate to strap-shaped, supervolute in bud, 6-15 x 1.2 cm at anthesis, to 20 x 2.2 cm and recurved at maturity, apex obtuse, not or slightly cucullate, bright deep green. Scape 8-23 cm. Outer perianth segments slightly convex, elliptic to narrowly obovate, 19 x 9 mm, inner segments flat, slightly flared at apex, oblong-spathulate, 10 x 4 mm, with separate green patches at base and apex. Filaments 1 mm, anthers 4-5 mm. Capsule subglobose to obovoid, 10 x 10 mm. 2n = 24. Fl. 2-4. Rocky areas and limestone crevices at margin of Fagus or Quercus forest, 800-1700 m.
