Bulb 2-3 cm diam. Leaves ,usually 4, lorate-lanceolate, synanthous, flat, scarcely keeled beneath, often twisted longitudinally, 8-11 mm broad, grey-green. Aerial portion of scape 12-20 cm at anthesis. Bract 5-5.5 cm. Flower white, sessile, fragrant. Perianth tube c. 5 mm; segments oblanceolate to obovate, 4.3-5 x 0.9-1.8 cm. Filaments 1.3-1.6 cm. Seeds with a large strophiole. Fl. 1-2. In scrub and stony places at edge of Cedrus forest, ? to c. 1100 m.
