Erect, glabrous, glaucescent annual with terete, very finely ridged, branched stems up to 60 cm, strongly smelling. Basal leaves triangular, up to 17 x 10 cm, 3-5-pinnate, ultimate segments filiform, up to 14 x 0.5 inm; cauline leaves smaller with longer ultimate segments; petioles shorter than rachis with broad sheaths. Rays 15-30 ± equal, 15-60 mm. Bracts and bracteoles absent. Pedicels 2-10 mm. Flowers 15-30 per umbellule. Fruit ellipsoid, 3-4.5 x 2-3 mm, dark brown, ridged, with lateral wings, glabrous; styles strongly deflexed. Fl. 6-7. Roadsides or near cultivation.
