Annual, 10-100 cm, erect, ± pseudo-dichotomously branched, lowest branches short. Cauline leaves 3-8 cm long, 1,5-3 mm broad, ± linear. Rays 3-8, very unequal, 1,5-16 mm, the longest less than 2/5 of peduncle. Bracts 3-5, 2/3 or more as long as rays, 6-15 mm. Umbellules 5-9-flowered. Bracteoles 5, elliptic to ovate, apiculate, finely serrate, quite scarious, semi-transparent, with a yellow brilliance at flowering, 5-8 mm, 3-veined with no or inconspicuous veinlets. Petals yellow, 0,7-0,9 mm, dentate-lobulate apically, inflexed lobe long, narrow, bifid. Anthers 0,25-0,3 mm. Stylopodium 0,55-0,6 mm, styles c. 0,3 mm. Fruit 1,6-2 mm, smooth, ridges filiform. Fl. 6-8. Phrygana, steppe and other dry, open, natural habitats, s.l.-900 m.
