Glabrous glaucescent perennial. Stem terete, weakly sulcate, 100-150 cm. Leaves 5-6-pinnate, triangular-ovate in outline, 30-50 x 20-30 cm, glabrous; ultimate segments setaceous-filiform, 5-20 mm. Sheaths strongly inflated, coriaceous, ovate, 7-14 x 3-4 cm, amplexicaul. Inflorescence paniculate-corymbose, central umbels short-pedunculate or sessile; rays 7-15, 2-4 cm; flowers 8-18 per umbellule, fruiting pedicels 6-12 mm. Mericarps obovate-oblong, 11-12 x 7 mm, dorsal ridges filiform, lateral wings 0,5-1 mm wide; valleculae 1-vittate, commissures 4-8-vittate. FI. 5-6. Rocky slopes, 1600-2900 m.
