Tall, glabrous glaucescent perennial. Stem terete, weakly sulcate, with strongly swollen nodes at fruiting time, 120-150 cm. Leaves 4-pinnate, ovate in outline, 30-50 x 15-25 cm; lobes setaceous to linear, 2-7 mm, green or glaucescent. Inflorescence paniculate-corymbose. Fruiting umbels subglobose, rays 20-30, subequal, 2-6 cm; bracts lanceolate, 5-10 mm, acute or acuminate; fruiting pedicels accrescent, 6-11 mm, stellate; bracteoles 1,5-5 mm, acuminate. Mericarps elliptic-ovate, 12-14 x 6-7 mm, truncate-retuse at the base, dorsal ridges filiform to obsolete, lateral wings 0,8-1 mm wide; vittae more than 10 on both sides. Fl. 4-6. Rocky slopes, 200-1210 m.
