Tall glabrous glaucous perennial. Flowering stem leafy, terete, superficially sulcate, 90-200 cm. Leaves 3-4-pinnate, triangular-ovate in outline, 15-30 x 5-25 cm, lobes oblong-Ianceolate to linear, 2-10 x 1,5-2 mm, acute, revolute, scabrid on the margins and median vein. Inflorescence corymbose-paniculate; rays 6-12, stout; subequal, 2-7 cm, laterals ascending; bracts triangular-ovate, 5-6 mm, fruiting pedicels slightly accrescent, 5-10 mm; bracteoles lanceolate, 3-4 mm, acuminate, margins whitish. Mericarps elliptic, 9 x 5 mm, truncate at the base, dorsal ribs obtuse-elevated, lateral wings c. 1 mm wide; dorsal and commissural vittae more than 10. Fl. 6-7. Fallow fields, rocky slopes, s.I.-210 m.
