Erect, branched, glabrous perennial with terete, longitudinally striate stems, 60-90 cm. Basal leaves ovate-oblong, imparipinnate, 6-10 x 4-6 cm, 2-3-pinnate; petiole 6-10 cm; segments orbicular or ovate-lanceolate, ± incised-serrate or sublobate, to 2.5 x 2.5 cm. Upper cauline leaves 1-3-pinnatisect, with linear-setaceous, elongate segments to 30 x 0.5-1 mm, with basal sheath. Umbel rays 15-25, unequal, 1-5 cm. Bracts 7-10, linear-setaceous, 5-7 mm. Umbellules 15-20-flowered; pedicels 2.5 mm. Bracteoles 4-6, linear, 1-4 mm. Flowers ochroleucous. Young fruit 3 x 0.8 mm, terete, prismatic-cylindrical, attenuate towards apex; ridges of mericarps broadly filiform, vittae numerous, irregularly aranged. Stylopodium conical. Fl. 6-7. Limestone cliffs, c. 550 m.
