Slender, glabrous annuals with smooth terete stems often tinged purple below, 3-20 cm. Basal leaves ovate, 1-8 x 0,7-3 cm, 2-pinnate, pinnae ± ternately deeply divided into narrow lanceolate lobes 2-6 x c. 1 mm. Lobes of upper leaves filiform, to 1,5 cm. Umbels lateral; peduncle shorter than subtending leaves. Rays 2-4, ± equal, capillary in flower, somewhat thickening above in fruit, 8-10 mm. Bracteoles c. 5, linear-lanceolate, ± equalling pedicels. Pedicels 5-7, unequal, 0-7 mm, thickening above in fruit. Fruit c. 2 x 1 mm. Fl. 4-5. Rocky limestone and serpentine slopes and screes, 10-1200 m.
