Dwarf ascending much branched densely hispidulous perennial with a cylindrical, erect or horizontal rootstock; stems 5-15 cm. Basal leaves 2-pinnate, with petiole 4-10 cm, ultimate segments pinnatisect. Umbels 3-9-rayed, mostly terminal; bracts and bracteoles absent or 1-2, minute, linear. Petals whitish-red, hairy on outer surface. Fruit 4-5 x c. 3 mm, obovate, hispid; wing c. 0,2 mm. Fl. 7-8. Rocky mountainous regions, 2450-2800 m.
