Slender glaucous glabrous perennial, branching from near the base; stem 25-90 cm, striate, slender. Basal leaves somewhat fleshy, 10-40 cm, 1-2-pinnate, ultimate segments usually deeply lobed, lobes elliptic or narrowly elliptic, 6-30 mm. Umbels 3-6-rayed; rays very unequal, glabrous; bracts absent; bracteoles 3-5, linear-lanceolate. Flowers yellow, 3-8 per umbellule. Fruit elliptic, 7-8 x c. 3.5 mm, c. 2 x as long as broad, widest above the middle; wing c. 0.2 mm; valleculae 1-vittate; cornmissures 2-vittate. FI. 7. Damp turf, etc., 950-2300 m.
