Erect glabrous perennial; stem 30-120 cm, faintly striate. Basal leaves 2-3-pinnate or -ternate, triangular in outline, ultimate segments 2-3 cm, ovate, pinnatifid. Umbels 5-12-rayed; umbellules 5-15-flowered; bracts and bracteoles 2-5, linear-lanceolate. Flowers white. Fruit 3-4 x 3-5 mm; mericarps hemispherical; margin not differentiated. Fl. 6-8. Corylus scrub, forest margins, 500-1500 m.
