Perennial, petiolar remains of dead leaf persistent at base. Stems solitaire, branched at above, 17–60 cm tall, ridged, densely pubescent or sometimes glabrous. Basal leaves 2-pinnate, lanceolate, 5.5–24 × 2–10 cm, densely scabrid, leaf segments linear-oblong, acute, 0.3–3 × 0.1–0.3 cm, petioles shorter than lamina. Stem leaves 2-pinnate, reduced to upwards, rhomboid-ovate, 1.5–12.5 × 2–12 cm, terminal segments linear, 15–47 × 1–3 mm, sheaths swollen, 15–40 × 7–15 mm. Main umbel 30–70 rays, rays dense scabrid, 2.5–6 cm, ±equal. Bracts 0–1, oblong-lanceolate, acuminate, 5–17 × 2–4 mm, densely scabrid. Umbellules 9–12 mm diam., 50–85-flowered. Bracteoles connate at base, 19–23, linear-lanceolate, acuminate, 2.5–5 × 1–1.5 mm, dense scabrid, margin ciliate. Lateral umbels 13–47-rayed, rays 5–35 mm. Bracts 0–1–2, oblong-lanceolate, 5–7 × 2 mm. Umbellules 4–7 mm diam., 35–60-flowered. Bracteoles 13–19, 1.5–2 × 0.5–1 mm. Pedicels 1 mm, densely scabrid. Sepals c. 1 × 0.5 mm, persistent in fruit. Petals white, incurved, glabrous or scabrid. Filaments and anthers yellow, anther versatile. Ovary densely pubescent. Stylopodium conical. Fruits elliptic, 3.5–4 × 1–1.5 mm, densely pubescent.
