Climbing or scrambling shrub. Leaves lanceolate, elliptic or ovate-elliptic, 4-5 x 1,5-2 cm, distinctly paler beneath, shiny on both sides, apex acute or acuminate, base cuneate or slightly rounded. Cymes equalling or shorter than leaves; pedicels to 1 cm, filiform. Corolla white, 12-14 mm diam.; lobes ± linear, to 6 mm, glabrous; corona segments c. 4 mm, thin. Follicles to 8 cm x 24 mm, straight or slightly arcuate, arranged horizontally or at an acute angle. Fl. 5-7. Rocky places in macchie, 200-1100 m.
