Leaves 2, shorter than scape, outer one 26-35 mm broad, obovate, shortly acuminate, margin smooth or minutely papillose, apparently thickish, glaucous, tinged purplish. Scape 6.5-12.5 cm. lnflorescence subspicate, dense, axis c. 1 cm in fruit. Perianth c. 5.5 mm, tubular urceolate, zygomorphic; lobes distinctly shorter than tube. Fruiting raceme 4-4.5 x 3-3.5 cm, very dense; pedicels 0.5-1 mm. Capsule thickish, tinged purplish; valves 12-15 x 14-16 mm, broadly obcordate. Steep scree, c. 1400 m.
