Bulb unknown. Leaves 3-4, lanceolate, canaliculate, outer up to 18 mm wide with smooth margin, inner leaves margin scabrid. Scape 1, to 50 cm. Raceme cylindrical, 30-120-flowered. Pedicels 5-8 mm long at anthesis, 12 mm in fruit, erect in bud then arcuate. Flower buds light blue with pinkish perianth tips; turning brownish lilac with pale green lobes at anthesis. Mature flowers campanulate, 6-7 mm long, lobes 2-2,5 mm long, obtuse. Anthers violet. Fruiting raceme cylindrical, 4-4,5 cm broad. Valves of capsule obcordate, 8-10 x 7-8 mm. Seeds broadly ovoid, 1,5-2 x 2-2,5 mm, bluish black, smooth. Fl. 5-6. Road edges, open forest area, 1300-1450 m.
