Rhizome short, erect, with brown reticulate scales c. 1 mm. Petioles 1,5-2,5 cmx 0·5 mm, usually shorter than lamina. brown in lowest 0,5-1cm, otherwise green. Lamina ovate or triangular-ovate. 2,5 x 1,5-3 cm. bipinnate below with 3-5 usually alternate pairs of pinnae. Lowest pinna almost always the largest, petiolulate ,. pinnate with 3-5 often ternately lobed pinnuIes, other pinnae similar to lowest but often merely pinnatifid. Ultimate segments c. 0,5 mm. Pedicle and lamina with short glandular hairs on margin. Sori 1-3 on lower part of each pinnule, c. 1 mm. often ±confluent at maturity. Indusium slightly fimbriate-lacerate. Spores bean-shaped. pale. . Cedrus forest on calcareous substrats. c. 1800 m.
