Plant broadly pulvinate, 5-10 cm, greenish with a very lax indumentum of minute 0.3-0.5 mm eglandular and glandular hairs and very sparse spreading 1-2 mm eglandular hispid hairs. Sterile shoots present. Basal and cauline leaves oblanceolate, obovate tospathulate, 0.6-3 x 0.3-1.5 cm. Inflorescence 2-5 cm. in fruit. Bracts ovate to lanceolate, 1-1.5 x 0.5-0.8 cm, c. 2 x as long as calyx. Pedicel 1-4 mm in fruit. Calyx 3-5 mill in flower, 5-7 mm in fruit; lobes lanceolate. Corolla 8-10 mm, pubescent outside; tube reddish, limb blue, 4-8 mm diam. Nutlets 1-2 mm diam., tuberculate, warts obtuse, always confluent at base; beak sometimes reduced, sometimes straight horizontal. FI. & Fr. 4-6. Crevices of limestone rocks, 400-450 m
