Annual, strigulose-tomentose with rather stiff patent dense hairs on small tubercles. Stem erect, much-branched. Leaves 18-27 mm, ovate-Ianceolate, acute, lowest shortly petiolate, upper sessile. Inflorescence lax, bracteate near base. Calyx c. 2 mm, pedicellate. Corolla to 2·5 mm, subcylindrical, hirsute, with short erect lobes and small intercalary teeth. Stigma subsessile, subulate from a disclike base, penicillate at tip. Nutlets with small warts and pits, hispidulous or glabrous. Limestone rocks, c. 100 m.
