Annual, 10-25 cm, stem erect, ± branched at base, with patent hairs. Leaves to 7 x 1,5 cm, oblanceolate. Pedicels to 6 mm, slender. Fruiting calyx 5,5 mm, patent. Limb of corolla to 6 mm diam., flat, bright blue. Nutlets 1,2 x 0,8 mm, brown, without rim; attachment scar with two marginal grooves. Fl. 4-5. Dry places, s.l.-770 m.
