Many-stemmed, low-growing perennial, glabrous or papillose , simple, rarely branched, sub-erect or ascending flowering stems 10-20 cm. Leaves linear-oblong, 5-15 mm, acute. Petals pink or white, 3-5-5 x 1-5 mm, distinctly 3-nerved at base. Filaments neither connate nor dentate, dilated at base; anthers apiculate. Inflorescence capitate-corymbose, expanding in fruit. Ovary 2-locular, each with 1 ovule . Fruiting pedicels erect to recurved, 3-5 mm. Siliculae ovate-obovate, cymbiform, 4-5-7 x 4-5 mm, cordate at base; wings 1-1-5 mm, crenate or entire; sinus 1-1-5 mm; style 0-5 mm. Seeds 2, or rarely 1 in a unilocular fruit, papillose or scarcely so, not mucilaginous. Fl. 4-6. Rocky slopes, 800-1700 m.
