Perennial, woody at base, 10-25 cm high, flowering stems simple or branched, glabrous, glaucous. Leaves deltoid-cordate or ovate-cordate, amplexicaul, acute at apex. Petals pink, white or creamy yellow, 5-9 x 2-4 mm. Filaments slender, loosely connate or free, not toothed; anthers apiculate. Inflorescence elongating in fruit. Ovary 2-locular, each loculus 1-2-ovuled. Fruiting pedicels erect, ascending, 4-7 mm. Siliculae ovate, c. 7 x 6 mm; septum 6 x 2 mm; wings irregularly and variably toothed, 1-2 mm, sinus 1-2 mm; style 2-4 mm. Seeds 1-2, slightly mucilaginous. Fl. 5-6. Rocky slopes and rock crevices, 1300-2400 m.
