Perennial, many-stemmed with mostly simple, rarely branched, flowering stems c. 15-20 cm. Leaves ± fleshy, oblong-linear or linear, obtuse or subapiculate, subsessile, mostly on sterile shoots, few on flowering shoots. Petals pink, 4-5.5 x 2.5-3 mm. Filaments neither connate nor toothed, dilated at base. Inflorescence subcapitate expanding into a loose infructescence. Ovary bilocular, loculi 1-ovulate. Fruiting pedicels spreading or subrecurved, 3-5.5 mm. Siliculae strongly cymbiform, ovate-orbicular, cordate, 6-8 x 5-6.5 mm; wings 1-2 mm, margins undulate, entire or irregularly crenate; sinus 1-2 mm; style ± sessile, adnate to wings for 1 mm; septum 5 x 2-2,5 mm. Seeds 1-2, radicle incumbent or accumbent. Fl. 5-7. Stony slopes, 1650-2700 m.
