Many-stemmed, low-growing, perennial herb with simple or branched ascending flowering stems 6-10 cm. Leaves narrow, linear, densely covering the stem. Petals pink, 5-7 x 2-3.5 mm, with a distinct claw and a suborbicular blade. Filaments loosely connate or not, not dentate; anthers apiculate. Inflorescence capitate not elongating in fruit. Ovary bilocular, 1 ovule in each loculus. Pedicels 4-6 mm. Siliculae 2-seeded, cymbiform, ovate, 7-8 x 8-9 mm; sinus 4 mm; wings 5 mm entire; septum 3-4 x 1 mm. Fl. 4-6. Rocky slopes, 1200-1700 m.
Endemic; related to Ae. capitatum.
