Dwarf caespitose perennial, c. 4 cm high, woody at base with many simple flowering stems, glabrous. Leaves all subulate, sessile, c. 0,5 mm long, densely covering sterile and flowering shoots. Petals pink, 5-5,5 x 3 mm, with a suborbicular blade somewhat waisted between it and the elliptic claw. Filaments neither connate, nor toothed, slightly dilated at base; anthers apiculate. Ovary bilocular, usually with 2 ovules, rarely 3. Inflorescence compact, not elongating in fruit. Fruiting pedicels erect, 3-4 mm. Siliculae 5-6 x 3-4 mm, ovate or oblongelliptic, rounded at base, 2- seeded, emarginate above; septum 4-5 x 1 mm, wings very narrow c. 0,5 mm, entire; sinus 0,5 mm; style ± sessile; stigma large capitate. Seeds very finely papillose, not mucilaginous. Radicle oblique neither incumbent nor accumbent. Fl. 6-7. Rocky slopes and rock crevices, 2000-2600 m.
