Suffrutescent and sprawling perennial with lax stems up to 15 cm. Leaves obtuse, obovate or spathulate, rarely oblanceolate, mature leaves very canescent with stellate hairs. Indumentum dimorphic on upper parts of plant. Petals yellow, 6-8 x 1.5-2.5 mm, entire, constricted below the limbs, with indumentum on the claws. Fruits elliptic, obtuse or truncate, 4.5-6 x 3.5-4.5 mm, with dense, canescent-silvery indumentum of lepidote or sublepidote hairs. Styles 3-4.5 mm, strongly dilated at the base, with indumentum for ½- 3/4 of their lengths. Fl. 5-6. Limestone screes and slopes, 1300-2100 m.
