Stems ascending to erect, up to 50 cm. Leaves very narrowly elliptic to lanceolate, entire or weakly dentate, canescent at least when young. Petals orange yellow. Siliquae substrict, very flattened, canescent, somewhat strangulate between the seeds, 45-65 x 3-4 mm. Style 2-3 mm. Fl. 3-4 . Rocky slopes, up to 600 m.
Widespread in Europe, but probably introduced by cultivation in many localities, W. Syria.
