Biennial or perennial herb. Stems up to 60 cm. Basal leaves spathulate or narrowly obovate, dentate to subentire. Stem leaves remotely toothed; all leaves with 2-3-fid hairs. Calyx 6-8 mm. Petals yellow, 10-14 mm. Siliquae spreading, somewhat flexuous or occasionally rather rigid, tetragonal, 40-80 mm, with a dense indumentum of 4-5-fid hairs. Style up to 2 mm. Fl. 4-6. Rocky slopes, cultivated ground, 700-1900 m.
