Perennial with a slender woody rhizome, many-stemmed, ascending, up to 40 cm, branched in the region of inflorescence. Leaves mostly basal, slightly fleshy, glaucescent, long-petiolate, oblong-spathulate; upper leaves, if present, entire and linear. Petals white, obovate, shortly clawed, 4 x 3 mm. Fruiting pedicels 3-5 mm. Fruit ± oblate, rounded below, rounded or truncate above, c.8 x9 mm, green on periphery, often suffused with purple heIciw. Fl. 5-7. Screes, rocky slopes, 2000-3000 m.
