Stems erect, with a dense indumentum of long, simple, whitish hairs. Leaves narrowly elliptic, dentate, the lower petiolate, the upper sessile. Sepals 6-8 mm. Flowers fragrant. Fruits flattened, pendulous, indehiscent, broadly winged, with an indumentum of simple or bifid setae when young, glabrous when ripe. Style truncate, ± caducous. Fl. 6. Eroded banks and screes, 1000-2000 m.
Endemic; Ir.-Tur. element.
