Biennial herb. Stems richly branched, often from the base, thyrsoid. Hairs all short and glandular. Sepals saccate, 6-10 mm. Petals pinkish-mauve, 17-18 mm. Siliquae flattened, contorted, usually densely glandular-pilose, pendant, on deflexed pedicels. Fl. 5. Screes, sandy slopes, etc., 1200-1600 m.
Endemic; a very striking and isolated species.
