Annual, 5-15 cm high, branching from base, papillose-scabrid. Leaves distributed over stem, linear-lanceolate, pinnatifid at apex with very short blunt or acute lobes. Petals white to mauve, 2-4 x 1 mm sometimes all ± same size. Inflorescence corymbose, not elongating in fruit. Fruiting pedicels c. 5 mm, horizontally spreading-ascending. Fruit ovate, 6-8 x 6-7 mm, rounded at base, at apex with two acute pointed wings; sinus broad 1,5-2,5 mm; wings 2,5-3 mm; septum 4-5,5 x 1 mm; style 1-1,5 mm. Seeds 2, margined, mucilaginous. Fl. 3-5. Rocky slopes or at edge of fields, s.l.-800 m.
