Glaucescent biennial, 5-10 cm, with several simple stems. Basal leaves rosette-forming, ovate-oblong, petiolate, entire or somewhat serrate. Cauline leaves oblong, auriculate, amplexicaul. Petals 4 x 1-2 mm. Inflorescence compact, capitate-corymbose, not much elongating in fruit. Siliculae obtriangular, cuneate at base, 8 x 4 mm, tips of wings acute, apical sinus narrow, subequalling style. Seeds 4 in each loculus. Fl. 4-5. Slopes and screes, c. 1000-1600 m.
